The module’s single-rank design is home to 16GB capacity modules and uses SK Hynix’s HM55C48MEBDX014 (M-die) integrated circuits. Those are supported by an onboard voltage regulation hardware module that can be controlled via iCUE to aid stability at these lofty frequencies.
Each module is decked out with 12 ultra-bright individually addressable CAPELLIX LEDs for a vibrant look and is compatible with iCUE. As you’d expect from a Dominator product, this kit is backed by Corsair’s excellent customer service and technical support network.
Crucial 2x32GB DDR5-4800 CL40
This is one of the first consumer DDR5 RAM kits to hit the market, a pair of 32GB modules with speeds up to 4800MHz. Featuring non-ECC parity and CAS latency of 40, it offers reduced delay when performing data-intensive tasks. This unbuffered UDIMM is compatible with 12th Gen Intel Core processors and can reach its rated speed with XMP enabled in the UEFI/BIOS settings.
DDR5 RAM can transfer up to 50% more data than the previous generation at launch, empowering computers with extreme performance right out of the box1. This means faster load times, file transfers, downloads, and refresh rates. Performance is enhanced not just in testing, but also in real-world applications and multitasking2.
The kit is available in a sleek black aesthetic that isn’t overly flashy, which may appeal to users who value functionality over looks. Bare modules without fancy heat spreaders aren’t as standard as they once were, but for those who want a clean look and are willing to spend a little more on a kit that can deliver a significant performance boost, this is an option worth considering.
G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 RAM
If you’re looking to boost the performance of your gaming PC, consider picking up a G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 RAM kit. This 32GB kit is rated for 6,800 Mbps transfer speeds, which will provide you with noticeable gains in applications and games. It’s also designed for overclocking and has a stock XMP voltage of 1.35V.
This kit uses Samsung’s high-end K4RAH086VB-BCQK (B-die) ICs, which allow it to hit its advertised data rate with very tight timings. The ICs are also hand-screened by G.Skill’s team to ensure a high-quality product.
The Trident Z5 RGB series has a sleek and streamlined aluminum heat spreader that comes in either a matte silver or black finish. It has built-in RGB LEDs that can be synchronized with compatible system lighting software, including Asus Aura, ASRock Polychrome Sync, and MSI Mystic Light. The memory modules are stacked in two rows of eight 2 GB ICs each, which gives them a total capacity of 32 GB. They’re programmed with the latest Intel XMP 3.0 profiles, which means that a single BIOS setting is all you need to unlock overclocked performance.
Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM
The Vengeance is one of the most popular memory kits in Corsair’s lineup. The company’s flagship Dominator series offers faster kits, but the Vengeance is a great option for enthusiasts and gamers looking to upgrade to DDR5. This kit features Samsung B-die ICs and a refined VENGEANCE design. The solid aluminum heat spreader conducts heat quickly and efficiently, while the high-performance PCB ensures signal quality for superior overclocking potential.
The Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM kit comes in retail packaging and includes two memory modules. The package is small and flat, with a picture of the memory modules on the front and some additional information on the back. Installation should be straightforward, and anyone who has any questions can consult the user manual included with the kit.
The Vengeance RGB performed well in our benchmark tests. It was able to beat its competition in both gaming and copy performance, though the Kingston kits were a little bit faster. It also ranked in fourth place in latency. However, the lower timings of this kit may be a drawback for those who want to maximize overclocking potential.
GeIL Polaris RGB DDR5
GeIL is a well-known PC component brand known for its high-quality products. Their Polaris RGB DDR5 is a high-speed RAM that promises better gaming and video editing speeds by eliminating the lag that plagues many other models. This RAM is also designed with energy efficiency in mind and only requires 1.1V to operate, which will help save you money on your electric bill.
This memory is available in capacities of up to 4800MHz and features a stylish gray heat spreader that looks great in most cases. It also uses a special design to avoid the light bulb effect across the RGB light bar, which gives it a more fluid lighting effect. In addition, the physical height of the heatsink has been optimized to fit most CPU coolers without any mechanical interference.
This RAM is designed for gamers and PC hardware enthusiasts, and it comes in three color options: Racing Red, Titanium Grey, and Glacier White. The RAM offers a sleek, stylish look that will add some flair to your build. It also has a unique, red design on the heatsink that stands out from other RAM.
Adata XPG Lancer RAM
ADATA is one of the world’s largest memory manufacturers, and their XPG line of enthusiast-branded RAM is a great way to upgrade your gaming PC. The XPG Lancer RGB is a 32GB dual-channel kit that has low latencies and uses 1.25V to operate. It comes in black with unlit heat spreaders or RGB-lighting variants that are compatible with ASUS Aura, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light.
This particular XPG variant is a nice change from the cylindrical or triangular styling of their DDR4 XPG kits, as it features a more sleek look. It also has a more premium texture. Its retail box is red-orange and has a hero photo, model name, and capacity on the upper half of the package while a portrait of Mera, their mascot, is shown on the lower part of the box.
The XPG Lancer RGB offers a good combination of performance and aesthetics. It can hit its advertised speeds through XMP at 1.25V and has low latencies that make it ideal for overclocking. The only negative is its somewhat high price tag, but that’s to be expected with premium-looking, fast RAM like this.
Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 RAM
If you’re looking for the simplest way to elevate your premium AMD system’s performance, investing in high-quality RAM is one of the best avenues. It can easily add a 15-20 percent uptick to Geekbench multi-threaded benchmark scores, and even better results in games.
The Kingston Fury Beast is an excellent option for this. It comes in a kit of two modules with capacities ranging from 8GB to 64 GB. Its fastest configuration runs at 6000 MT/s, though you need to make sure your motherboard can operate four sticks of that level of speed.
Its black design is highlighted by an anodized aluminum heat spreader that features the FURY branding. It also supports the manufacturer’s FURY CTRL program, which lets you change the color of each stick individually, or match it to your motherboard or graphics card’s RGB.
The kit’s part number is KF552C40BBK-32, where the 52 alludes to its speed and the C40 refers to the timings. It offers CAS latency of 36 clocks and tRCD-tRP-tRAS timings of 38-38-80. It’s backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
Teamgroup T-Force Delta RAM
The Teamgroup T-Force Delta RGB RAM kit has a premium look and works fast out of the box without manual tweaking.
